Delete your TimeMe.AI account
You can delete your account and its data at any time — from inside the app, or by request from this page. This page explains both paths, what gets deleted, what we keep and why, and how long it takes.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open TimeMe.AI and sign in.
- Go to the More tab → Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted and you're signed out.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app
No need to reinstall the app. Email us and we'll do it for you.
- Email privacy@timeme.ai with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on the account (so we can verify it's you).
- For a child's account: email from the parent or guardian account, tell us which child, and we'll verify your relationship before deleting. A parent or guardian can request deletion of a child's information at any time.
- Partial deletion: you can also request deletion of specific data — for example photos and videos, chat messages, or one family member's data — without deleting the whole account. Say what you'd like removed in the same email.
What gets deleted, what we keep, and how long it takes
Deleted
- Your profile (name, email, roles)
- Your schedule: events, bookings, RSVPs, session notes, and ratings tied to your account
- Family links (your membership in a family, or a child profile you control)
- Huddles messages and Buzz broadcasts you sent
- Photos, videos, and files you uploaded (Time Capsule and chat media)
- Your AskAI conversation history
- Calendar-sync tokens (Google Calendar access is revoked)
Kept — and why
- Limited records we're required to keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons — kept only as long as required, then removed
- Content that other people own may lose your name but remain — for example, a team roster entry a coach created, or messages others sent in a group chat, shown as from a deleted account
How long
- In-app deletion takes effect immediately.
- Email requests: we verify and process within 30 days (usually much faster). Residual copies in backups are purged on our normal backup cycle.
